月事不适医生会发证明书 “接纳与否看雇主”
（吉隆坡22日讯/独家报导）大马医药协会主席辜家财指出，医学界一向没有“月事病假单”这回事，医生一般上会发出医生证明书（medical certificate）以表明相关人士不适合工作，而接不接纳有关医生证明书，取决于雇主本身。
他说，医生们一直都承认，女性确实会遭受经痛的折磨，部分女性每月都会经历这种痛苦，有些则不会。
“月经期间遇到的症状，可以从轻微的不适到剧烈的疼痛，因人而异，而这肯定会影响个人工作表现。”

辜家财告诉《中国报》，正因如此，只要女性被诊断出患有经痛，医生通常都会提供医生证明书。
至于应不应该提供女性月事假等课题，他认为应交由人力资源部、雇主协会、职工会或其他相关非政府组织等，根据现有数据提出建议为佳。
妇女、家庭及社会发展部副部长拿督西蒂再拉日前在国会下议院问答环节指出，该部正向各相关单位收集意见，以了解他们对让女性在每次经期到来时，拿“月事假”休息的意见。
