（伦敦23日综合电）英国男子库普兰19岁就读大学期间，意识到当一名房东就能收租有收入，下定决心利用积蓄及学贷买下人生第一间房子，亲自进行装修。
如今的他已经27岁，手中还有5栋房子正在出租，实现当初成为房东的想法，并分享这些年来所累积的经验。
《镜报》报导，当年才19岁的库普兰仍是一名大学生，准备成为一名临床分析师，在校内修习解剖等课程。但这一年他也意识到，当上房东就能有收入，像是能向每一名入住学生宿舍者收取费用。
库普兰当时手中有6000英镑积蓄，拿出其中5300英镑，预付10%头期款买下5.3万英镑（约28万令吉）房子，接着就仰赖学贷，购买地毯、油漆及其他工具，在爸爸的协助之下进行装修。
