（吉隆坡16日讯）卫生总监丹斯里诺希披露，雪兰莪士拉央医院的肾脏移植医疗团队，近日成功完成我国第二宗双肾移植手术，为一名患者移植了两颗肾脏。
他说，捐赠者是一名高龄74岁的人士，也迄今为止国内最年长的器官捐赠者。
诺希山今午在面子书贴文指出，这场双肾移植手术是在5月28日早上7时展开，于下午3时结束，由两名肾移植外科医生，即拿督罗汉马历和杜医生（译音）率团操刀。
他说，双肾移植接受者是一名29岁男性，他手术后表现良好，没有并发症，是次手术成功也为接受者带来希望和重生，创造了历史。
他指出，大马是在5年前展开首次双肾移植手术，当时也是由罗汉马历率领的医疗团队成功完成。
诺希山向涉及这次手术的医疗团队致谢，感谢他们把器官移植手术推向更高峰。
