童星谢苗获封李连杰接班人 因周润发一句话消失10年？
有传发哥支持谢苗返回内地升学，过正常童年生活。
(北京讯)90年代曾参演多部港产片的谢苗，凭著可爱样子及好身手，加上跟李连杰多次合作，而获封为“李连杰接班人”。当年亲自选中谢苗来港发展的王晶，更开戏给对方当第一男主角，但谢苗却在发展得最顺风顺水时退出演艺圈，一别就十年，有指这个决定跟周润发一句话有关，究竟发生什么事？
王晶当年筹备开拍《洪熙官》（又名《新少林五祖》），到中国少年宫挑选童星，自幼便习武的谢苗凭著好身手而被相中，第一次拍戏就跟李连杰演父子，同片还有邱淑贞、叶德娴及刘松仁等电影明星。王晶十分欣赏谢苗，安排他演出《给爸爸的信》、《赌神2》，甚至在《小飞侠》当上男主角。
在香港获得一定知名度，谢苗大有条件在影圈大展拳脚，但他却毅然返回中国升学，完全退出演艺圈。据悉，当年谢苗父母为儿子的发展而大伤脑筋，眼见谢苗在影圈发展得不错，但又不想儿子失去童年生活，跟谢苗在《赌神2》合作的周润发认为应该让谢苗回中国念书，小孩子不应该在尔虞我诈的娱乐圈浸淫，好好学习才有更好出路，而且童年就只有一次，长大后还是可以当演员。
结果谢苗回到北京后由中学念到大学毕业，2001年曾应好友释小龙邀请出山接拍剧集《宰相小甘罗》及两部电影，但真正复出已经是2006年，脱离了整整十年。重返演艺圈的谢苗虽然没有大红大紫，但片约不断，在电影及电视圈都吃得开，去年更在网络电影《叶问宗师觉醒》中扮演叶问，获赞表现拍得住甄子丹。
当年谢苗获封为“李连杰接班人”，赞他身手好又演技自然。
事业发展不俗，谢苗更娶得女星何彦霓为妻，太太相当美丽。
谢苗与妻子育有一女。
