在小掌柜的从业生涯中，常常会经历一些让小掌柜啼笑皆非的场景。怎么说呢？
想当年小掌柜还在医院病房当临床药剂师的时候，遇到了一个因为血糖太高，脚上伤口烂了个大洞，痛的嗷嗷叫的老人家。依照惯例，小掌柜拉了把椅子，在病床边坐下，准备和老人家来个心灵对话。

小掌柜：唉，老人家，你知道现在为什么需要住院吗？
老人家：唉，医生小姐啊（注：在医院，病人把穿白袍的一律称作医生），我的脚伤口一直不会好，还很臭，洗伤口的时候痛到想要晕过去！
小掌柜：那么，老人家，每次复诊的时候，医生有开药给你对吧？糖尿病的药，高血压的药，胆固醇药，这些你都有按时吃吗？
老人家： 有啊有啊，给了一大堆。可是我不敢吃啊！这么多药，吃了我的肾脏和肝脏会坏掉。我怕等下吃太多会被毒死啊！
小掌柜：老人家，我看你每个月都有按时拿药，那么多药物，没有吃，都去了哪里？
老人家：啊！我怕没有拿药，医生会生气。可是又不敢还回医院，我就丢进我家后面的水沟了，有些就丢进垃圾桶了。
听到这里，小掌柜都快要气晕过去了。估且不论到底是药物伤肾还是高居不下的血糖和血压会导致肾衰竭，你把你不要吃的血糖药，血压药丢进水沟里面，然后顺着流进大海，去给鱼啊虾啊吃，然后你再吃这些被喂了药的鱼虾，就有比较好吗？
更糟的是，不只是你中招，你的孩子孙子，吃的食物，喝的水都会有你不要吃的血糖血压药！这样做的后果，你们想过吗？
乱弃药物污染环境
也许这些听起来非常的遥远，但是，小掌柜恳请在读者这篇文章的你，仔细想想，为什么现在会有那么多超级细菌，不管用什么抗生素都没有效果？那是因为当我们把吃不完的抗生素倒进洗碗池，垃圾桶时，水源里千千万王种细菌和微生物，不但不会被杀死，还会慢慢适应抗生素的药性，养出抗药性。
当我们的子子孙孙喝下这些受污染的水时，纵然水源已经过滤处理，谁又能保证里面就不含有一丁点药物？而当我们的身体被这些有抗药性的超级细菌侵入时，那真是神仙都救不了了！
因为医疗发达，人民平均寿命增长，我们一生中或多或少都需要用到药物来医治身上大小病痛。
在2021年，我国总人口已到达3200万，试想想，假设每一天都有1%的人把药物随便丢进水里，长年累月，我们的海里迟早都会被药物污染殆尽。
小掌柜并不是空口说白话，根据一项由博特拉大学在Lui、Gombak和Selangor河流的取样发现，3条河流都化验到了好几种抗生素如阿莫西林(Amoxicillin), 氯霉素（Chloramphenicol）和环丙沙星（Ciprofloxacin）。
不止如此，有些区域甚至检验到了止痛药成分包括双氯芬酸（Diclofenac） 和类固醇药物地塞米松（Dexamethasone）。 而其中，又属环丙沙星的检测浓度最高，这还只是冰山一角，试想想，你不要吃然后随便丢弃的药，都会用另一种方式，通过水源，家禽，农作物再次喂养给你，还有你的子子孙孙，这后果难道不可怕吗？
囤积药物不是美德
早在很多年前，卫生部就一直不断教育民不要囤积过多药物，因为药物是会过期的。收一大堆药物不只是容易吃错药，收到过期，还浪费药物。
此外，卫生部也一直在教育大众，请把过期或不需要用的药物带到临近的政府诊所或医院回收。如果你觉得这些设施离你太远，你也可以去到临近有帮忙处理丢弃药物的药剂行，请他们帮你妥善处理这些药品。你只要多做着一个动作，就可以为保护大自然，保护后代做出贡献，这种利人利己的事，何乐而不为呢？
最后，小掌柜想要呼吁大家，囤积药物并不是美德，把药物丢进水沟更不是！请不要让本该治愈我们的药物，变成大自然的毒药！要不然，以后你的孙子喝的水，就会有你不要吃的血糖血压药！
