（北京讯）“最美周芷若”周海媚去年12月11日过世，享年57岁，7天后家人低调办告别式火化，时隔4个月，家属18日透露她安葬于北京的墓园，“我们一家人在香港和北京找了很多地方，觉得现在这个新家很合适，是母亲最喜欢的，也方便多方人士祭拜。海媚很喜欢北京，她从36岁就开始在北京生活、工作，21年。”
周海媚猝逝引发各种传闻，家属随后辟谣表示，她的死因是突发心脏病，“走得安详，很平静，没有痛苦。”排行老二的她有一个姐姐、两个弟弟，但是所有财产与房产由母亲继承，她生前饲养的猫、狗和其他小动物，因条件问题，已在北京找了一些爱护动物的好朋友代为收养。
周海媚工作室发声明透露，周海媚长眠于北京昌平区天寿陵园的如意区（名人大道），“感谢大家喜爱海媚，海媚的所有社交平台账号包括宠物账号都会保留，供大家浏览怀念。我们再次衷心感谢在海媚生前及身后给予关怀和帮助的亲朋好友及工作团队，你们的温暖伴随我们走过了这段艰难且哀伤的时光。永远感恩。”
