首先，为了维持良好姿势，建议避免翘脚，坐姿要端正；站立时，则尽量不要采取三七步，这样有助于减轻腰部压力。
同时，可以在腰部后方加上靠垫，增强对脊椎的支撑。此外，谢医生建议，在长时间久坐时，应每半小时起身活动一下，避免保持同一姿势太久，以确保血液循环良好，避免肌肉过度绷紧。
搬运重物时，应该留意动作，不要腾空弯腰用力，以免对腰椎造成过大负担。建议蹲下或者屈膝，再拾起物品，并将物品尽量靠近身体，这样可以减少腰椎压力。
