黄一飞是国内创作音乐人，也是《一百万》的原创、原唱者，荣获马来西亚十大歌手东南亚最佳闽南语男歌手。他热心教育，在华教义演捐赠的水墨画作品，为国内多间学校筹获了总数超过一百万的款项。
黄一飞除了热爱音乐和舞台表演，更爱丹青。他在舞台上魅力十足，让人见识到他的歌唱和说话的魅力，但舞台上的光芒终究是曲终人散，他更希望给后世留下有故事的画作。于是唱而优则画，黄一飞于2003年开始，跟随本地著名画家吴亚鸿学水墨画，从此绘画成了生活主轴。
绘画是心语，提起笔墨在纸上挥洒，尽情享受创作，同时也在创作过程中更深认识自己。黄一飞和太太小喵（郑美心）、女儿小米（黄子晏）以习画怡情养性、培养亲子感情，亦以水墨画来自我表达内心的情感、触动和体会，以及创作的喜悦。
