控诉保险公司接诽谤信 吴健南：积极配合律师公会 “一个月内呈解释”
（吉隆坡28日讯）早前因帮助血癌死者和家属，向保险公司追讨半途弃保公道，后遭保险公司投诉到律师公会的马华公民社会运动局主任吴健南指出，他会积极与律师公会纪律委员会配合，并在一个月内提交其解释。
他说，有关保险公司是针对他于去年9月2日在面子书直播的记者会，控诉该公司半途弃保，导致来自大山脚罹患急性血癌患者黄种山丧失治疗意志力而病逝的事件，对他作出投诉。

“我相信这是首宗大马保险公司援引法律专业法令第100（1）（b）条文，向律师公会投诉一名执业律师，让律师公会对我采取纪律行动，包括暂停和撤销我的执照。”
他今日召开记者会强调，联邦宪法赋予每个人言论自由，而站在律师的身分下，他有责任为所有弱势群体伸张正义。

他也提到，有关保险公司的行动，不会阻止他继续保护保险消费者基本权利和尊严的使命。
“我们的斗争不是针对或打压任何保险公司，我们没这个能力，只是希望宏观的改善和纠正现有的保险法令和政策，尤其是阻止保险公司这种不道德和不公平的运作方式，来欺压保险消费者。”

吴健南说，虽然他在这起个案成为被投诉者，但更令他揪心的是，死者遗孀黄爱丝（45岁）和孩子们至今还要面对这么多障碍和挑战。
他也希望，各保险公司可以更为健康和平衡，不要占保险消费者的便宜，即“买的时候什么都可以，索赔时却样样不行”。

“投保人花钱为自己和家人投保，有权获得受保证的赔偿，保险公司不能在他们最需要帮助时背弃他们。”

黄爱丝：对投诉感震惊
黄爱丝对保险公司投诉吴健南一事感到震惊，并指吴氏于2021年9月2日召开的记者会，完全是按照其意愿来举行。
她说，保险公司指控吴健南违反她的利益的说法并不正确，因为在该公司决定半途断保时，她投诉很多部门都不受理，最后知道吴氏有在帮助其他保险消费者，就联系后者求助。
她也再次哭诉，真正侵犯其亡夫利益的是保险公司，由于亡夫刚进行了骨髓移植，需要时间恢复，但保险公司的断保，导致亡夫无法在完全没有压力的情况下休养，让他失去求生意志，最后病逝。

据报导，死者黄种山是在2019年罹患急性血癌，随即获兄长捐移骨髓，保险公司当时也承担了近100万令吉的医药费。
黄种山于2021年5月因身体出现排斥副作用，再度送院治疗，医疗费达40万令吉，保险公司却以黄氏没呈报20年前的中风病例为由，发出拒赔信，并取消黄种山4份保单，包括2份为孩子投保的保单。
