WhatsApp 近期加入不少新功能，当中以 Reaction 表情图示最受用户欢迎。其实 WhatsApp 仍会有一些实用新功能即将引进。
根据 WABetaInfo 的消息，WhatsApp 在更日最新的 Beta 版中引进隐藏线上状态功能，当中可以从私隐设定中找到一项名为 “Who can see when I’m online” 的选项，启用后可以限制部份人才可看到用户在线的状况。
另外，虽然 WhatsApp 能够“回收”错误发送的讯息，现时最多是 1 小时内删除。不过，Beta 版本已将时延长至 60 小时（即 2 天半），让想收回讯息的人也可有较充足时间收回。
此外，Reaction 功能早前已全面启用，用户可对别人的讯息以 Reaction 表情回应（赞、心、笑、哭等 6 个表情）。而 Beta 版中将 Reaction 功能进一步开放，容许使用 6 个预设表情以外的 Emoji。
