阿占峇基：绝不因部落客或网民信息 开启调查
（布城14日讯）反贪污委员会首席专员丹斯里阿占峇基指出，反贪会拥有自身调查工作标准作业程序，而不能仅根据一名部落客或一位网民信息展开调查，尤其是那些被怀疑有特定政治议程的人。
他说，如果反贪会调查工作是根据这些指控，那反贪会调查文件，将无法建立在坚定的证据基础。
“当然，在获得总检察署（同意起诉）许可前，它会被丢掉，当然它甚至不会被带上法庭。”
他也希望媒体，不要再报导反贪会因一名部落客的指控，而立案调查。
阿占峇基今日出席2021年反贪会媒体奖颁奖礼时说，反贪会有责任调查反贪会管辖范围内收到的任何贪污腐败投报，包括媒体揭露的报导，特别是涉公共利益。

他指出，在民主制度下，媒体是第四权，扮演监督责任，而媒体力量能够监控、揭露社会中的腐败和滥权行为。
另一方面，在记者会上，提到反贪会的调查自由和独立的问题时，阿占峇基说，反贪会是个独立调查机构，而且也由5个监管单位监管。
他指出，这些监管单位都是监督反贪会运作，同时也会给意见。
“在国际上，获得监管单位监督是香港廉政公署，他们一共有4个监管单位监督，而我们有5个。”
阿占峇基说，一旦接获投报，反贪会可自由调查任何案件或任何人。
