（特拉维夫5日综合电）以色列总理贝内特周三引述国内1份研究的初步结果指出，打完第4剂新冠肺炎疫苗1周后，体内抗体可增至原来的5倍。
贝内特在希巴医疗中心说：“打完第4剂1周后，我们更确定第4剂很安全。”
贝内特告诉记者：“第2个消息是：我们知道打完第4剂的1周后，接种者体内抗体数量增至5倍。”
他以英语说：“这极可能代表（第4剂）抵抗染疫、住院和（严重）症状（的能力）显着提升。”
以色列的Omicron变异株病例激增之际，希巴医疗中心针对旗下员工进行新冠肺炎疫苗第2剂追加剂（即所谓的第4剂）试验。
以色列在新冠肺炎疫苗效果研究上领先全球。该国1年前是最早对普罗大众推动接种2剂疫苗的国家，也是全球率先施打追加剂（第3剂）的国家之一。
