教部付全额予清洁承包商 食堂免租金半年 续约1年
（吉隆坡4日讯）教育部指出，将依照合约内所阐明，支付全额给建筑物及环境清洁服务（KBK）承包商；同时规定，为该部属下学校的食堂经营者和各空间租户提供6个月租金豁免，以及自动再续约1年。
教育部今日发文告宣布，从今年7月至12月，为该部属下学校的食堂经营者和各空间租户提供6个月租金豁免，两者在原本合约届满后，也会自动再续约1年。
它指出，该部理解食堂经营者和各空间租户，包括书店、福利社、洗衣店和自动贩售机等，在教育部属下学校被关闭后所面对的困境，因此采取上述举措。
“教育部相信这个举措能协助减轻该部属下学校，因新冠肺炎疫情受到影响的服务提供者和员工的财务负担。”
此外，该部强调，将依照合约内所阐明，支付全额给建筑物及环境清洁服务承包商，因此不存在承包商必须减薪该服务员工的问题；同时，该部也会延长熟食供应服务（BMB）承包商的合约。
该部说，该部关注属下学校的服务提供者面对的困境，尤为因行动管制令被迫关闭学校，而受到影响的建筑物及环境清洁服务。
非政府组织“政府合约员工联盟”（JPKK）面子书专页于本月2日在面子书贴文揭露，教育部日前发出指南，在行动管制令（MCO）期间，学校的清洁工作也必须减少至60%，这让一些承包商有机可趁，藉机扣除清洁工人的薪水40%，该项政策将持续至MCO结束为止。
JPKK还揭露，经扣除40%薪水后，学校清洁工的薪资仅剩495令吉。
