（伦敦15日综合电）英国二战英雄前首相邱吉尔近日卷入全球反种族歧视抗议浪潮，雕像遭破坏。在敏感时机，有人发现谷歌搜寻结果出现的历任英相列图独缺邱吉尔照片。谷歌表示会调查原因。
网络搜寻引擎巨擘谷歌周日在推特发表声明说，邱吉尔的照片之所以消失在英国历任首相搜寻结果最上方的图像列，是一次自动更新后的结果，“并非刻意造成”。若因此产生“任何疑虑”，谷歌表示歉意。
谷歌强调，这个问题只发生在搜寻结果的“知识图谱”（knowledge graph）列，民众仍可透过谷歌轻易搜寻到许多邱吉尔的照片。
邱吉尔因过往种族歧视纪录引发争议，而卷入近日全球掀起的“黑人的命也是命”示威浪潮。上周末在伦敦市中心进行的抗议活动，有人在邱吉尔的雕像涂上“种族主义者”字样。
