在吉隆坡众多日本料理店中，KIMIYA（常写作Kimi-Ya）凭着坚持传统日式料理精神，成为不少老饕心中的口袋名单。品牌创立至今已有10年，目前在吉隆坡设有两家分店，分别是位于旧巴生路Avantas Residences的创始店，以及进驻市中心The Exchange TRX的分店。

餐厅主厨王志强介绍，餐厅坚持供应传统且道地的日本料理，从高汤、酱汁到食材都不马虎。餐厅所有高汤均以昆布与柴鱼每天现熬，酱油则加入４种柴鱼长时间熬制熟成，因此香气浓郁，却不会过咸。
