（伦敦8日综合电）英国科学家麦克拉伦近日透过实验发现，公共厕所烘手机吹出的强风中充满细菌与真菌，经过一夜培养后，培养皿长出大量不同种类的细菌。相较之下，一般空气中的细菌含量几乎为零。
麦克拉伦是Devon Science教育计划创办人，先前在TikTok上分享这项实验过程，她将培养皿放置于公共厕所烘手机下方，收集吹出的空气样本，同时另取一个培养皿在一般空气中挥动作为对照组，经过隔夜培养后，结果令人震惊。
麦克拉伦在影片中表示，烘手机培养皿出现许多不同种类的细菌，甚至还有真菌，相对之下，一般空气样本完全没有细菌生长，这项结果令她直言，“这就是我不用烘手机的原因”，引发网友热议。
这段影片在社媒上疯传，累积逾千万次观看。
有网友留言回应，“我以后宁愿用衣服或纸巾擦手”、“烘手机不是高温吗？怎么还会有细菌，甚至真菌？”，甚至有网友笑称：“身为一个多年来一直宣传烘手机很脏的人，我觉得自己不那么疯狂了”。
不过，也有部分网友指出实验方法存在争议，认为应采集公厕空气作为对照组才更具说服力。麦克拉伦也承认这点，并称将进一步进行相关测试。
