（奥斯陆30日综合电）挪威去年以安全为由，将一头在网络爆红的野生海象“芙蕾雅”（Freya）安乐死，引发全球哗然，挪威民间为纪念“芙蕾雅”发起群众募资，筹得超过2万5000美元（约11万1498令吉），建造等身大小铜像，盼悲剧不再重演。
挪威奥斯陆峡湾去年出现一头600公斤重、估计年约5岁的雌性海象，它曾在英国、荷兰、丹麦和瑞典等地现踪，并被以北欧女神“芙蕾雅”命名，它在奥斯陆峡湾多次被拍到眯眼享受日光浴、奋力追逐鸭子、在船上打瞌睡等可爱画面，因此在网络爆红，还变成全民焦点，不料渔业署以对人类安全造成威胁，将它安乐死。
