雇主 公司聘外劳 弃本地人 人资部：采法律对付
（布城1日讯）人力资源部警告雇主和本地公司，勿因政府实施放宽聘请外劳计划后，却裁减本地员工，否则将会受到法律对付，以及吊销这些公司的聘请外劳固打准证。
人资部长西马古马今日发文告指出，政府在考量到本地劳工严重短缺下，人资部在今年1月17日至3月31日落实“放宽聘请外劳计划”（PKPPA），以加速批准5个领域的聘请外劳固打申请。
他说明，这5大领域分别是种植业、工厂、建筑业、农业及服务业（餐馆）。
他指出，然而，近期人资部接到许多投诉，一些本地公司取得聘雇请外劳固打后开除本地员工。
“我接到的最新投诉，槟城有102名本地员工遭裁员。”
西华古玛警告，人资部放宽聘请外劳，是为了应付有关领域人手短缺问题，而不是让企业借故裁减本地员工。
“我也要劝告所有雇主，每一个职位空缺都应该优先给予本地人。”
他说，若有公司或雇主开除本地员工，并以外劳取代，则会抵触1955年雇佣法令第60M条文。”
他说明，触犯以上条例的雇主和公司，其每一项罪名会受罚高达5万令吉。
“人力资源部也会吊销所发出的聘雇移工固打准证。”
