（约翰内斯堡13日综合电）南非女子麻佐希维致力于快速减肥，以利进行缩胸手术，但体重却一直降不下来，于是她剑走偏锋，要求牙医在她的牙齿安装“瘦身线”，让她无法张开下颚，减少饮食来达成减肥效果。
英国《太阳报》报导，麻佐希维此前曾通过“间歇性禁食法”成功减掉12公斤，可惜减肥计划很快就来到平台期，于是她决定采取更极端的手法，让自己再瘦一点。今年6月，麻佐希维在牙齿上安装“瘦身线”。
这是一种将矫正线绑在佩戴者牙齿上，以保持下颚紧闭的激进减重方法。麻佐希维在佩戴“瘦身线”的7周里，只能仰赖冰沙、汤和优格等流质食物来维持生命，但她最后成功减掉14.3公斤。
由于这种减肥方式极具争议，因此麻佐希维在网上分享经验时，引来大批网友批评，“我一开始面对负评浪潮时，还想过干脆就不要和大家分享了，但我最后还是决定继续尝试，现在大家看到我的成绩，都开始给出了好评”。
