杨巧双贴心安排 政治演讲 有手语翻译
（吉隆坡8日讯）政治演讲贴心安排手语翻译员，让袭疾人士也能即场接收演讲者欲传达的讯息。
希盟行动党泗岩沫国席候选人杨巧双周日（6日），在泗岩沫盛兰园举行的政治演讲，特安排2名手语翻译员，向出席者传达演讲者表达的讯息。
据了解，这也是杨巧双团队首次聘用手语翻译员，2名手语翻译员将在行动党泗岩沫国席举行的政治演讲，负责手语翻译工作。
其中一人是拥有40年经验的露丝林（Lucy Lim，59岁），及29岁的卡丽斯达谢（Calysta Tay）。
两人都是来自雪隆聋人协会（JUPEBIM）的社区翻译员，该协会也是由露丝林创办和负责。
杨巧双说，她是首次在大选政治演讲聘用手语翻译员， 之后每一次演讲都会安排手语翻译员。
杨巧双的竞选演讲，都会安排手语翻译员，通过手语传达讯息予有需要的居民。
她说，她日前和家人前往双威购物广场时，遇到一群聋哑人士，其中一人用手写方式和她交流，表明他是泗岩沫居民，感谢她任职妇女、家庭和社会发展部前副部长时协助他们。
她说，这让她知道泗岩沫国席也有聋哑居民，平常使用手语，或对外使用手写方式， 让外人知道他们要“说的话”。
她说，她不知选区内有多少选民使用手语，但她知道接下来举行的政治演讲时，需要提供手语翻译服务。
她指出，她希望在大选竞选期间，不只是一般的居民，她们可通过手语翻译员使用手语，传达讯息给聋哑人士，让他们能“听得见”。
“相信这也是在希盟政治演讲才能看到，这也是我们希盟和国阵、国盟等不同。”
