（澎湖21日综合电）位于台湾澎湖妈祖文化园区，高达48公尺、世界最高的妈祖铜像周四（20日）晚间正式点灯落成，预期未来将成澎湖国际级观光游憩景点。

澎湖妈祖观光文化园区历经多年波折，澎湖县政府周四举办妈祖雕像洒净祈福法会，这尊世界最高妈祖铜像也正式揭幕。

澎湖县长赖峰伟说，妈祖是澎湖人重要的心灵寄讬，竖立妈祖雕像是为发扬妈祖慈悲济世精神，期洒净仪式让澎湖每一块土地都能平安圆满。

在佛光山常务副住持慧传法师、慧裴法师、慧清法师主持下，法师手持杨枝在“大悲咒”梵呗法音中，环绕妈祖雕像及园区遍洒甘露水。

以慈悲度众

澎湖县议会议长刘陈昭玲表示，澎湖是一个福地，期盼妈祖雕像落成之后，能让更多的世人以妈祖慈悲度众为榜样，为社会、为澎湖注入更多的安定与良善，让澎湖更为美好。

妈祖观光文化园区历经蓝绿县长，多年来争议不断，从2011年澎湖县前县长王乾发提出此计划，当时选定在澎湖“内海之珠”大仓岛。2014年前县长陈光复当选后，就宣布停建已执行超过一半的大仓妈祖工程，但县库已花费3亿公帑（4414万令吉）。

2018年赖峰伟上任后，经全县民调重新选址，最后择定马公市重光开发区为最终场址，并经议会同意全案在原核定经费范围，动支剩余预算2.5亿元，兴建澎湖妈祖观光文化园区。
