（古晋18日讯）国内贸易及消费人事务部已成立特别委员会，确保水灾期间的食品供应充足。
部长拿督斯里阿历山大南达林奇说，相关特委会已拟定特定的行动计划，确保国家进入东北季候风，在天气状况不佳时，食品供应依然充足。
“我们已准备好，在水灾期间，特别是年尾，确保食品供应不受到严重影响。”
阿历山大今日出席大马一家优惠销售计划后指出，其他相关机构也加入该委员会，大家将合作，以从各层面探讨人民对食品供应的需求。
他坦言，季风季节非常具挑战性，该部无法保证整个食品供应不会受到影响。
“在不确定的天气条件下，要保证100%充足的（食品）供应确实很困难，但我们会密切监督，确保有供应。”
