（哥打丁宜16日讯）轿车失控冲入反向车道后与货卡相撞，导致3岁女童惨死，另外6人受轻重伤。
车祸于昨午4时许，在新山往丰盛港路第46公里处，靠近大马橡胶局处发生。
车祸涉及一辆国产迈薇轿车及福特Ranger货卡。
事发时，迈薇轿车上乘有一对巫印裔夫妻及3岁女童，货卡则有4名乘客；车祸导致3岁女童命丧现场，妻子被夹在前座乘客位，其余人士包括迈薇司机和货卡内的4人皆受伤。
哥打丁宜警区主任胡欣查拉莫证实此案时指出，警方于昨日下午4时40分接获投报。
他说，初步调查，事发时，迈薇轿车正从丰盛港往哥打丁宜的途中，在上述地点一个转弯往哥打丁宜路段，失控撞上左边防护栏，轿车打转冲入对面方向的车道。
此时一辆福特货卡闪避不急，撞上迈薇轿车，货卡也失控坠入左边的沟渠。
他说，迈薇轿车没有安装儿童安全椅。
胡欣查拉莫指出，警方目前援引1987年陆路交通法令41（1）条文（鲁莽或危险驾驶而导致死亡）调查案件。
另外，哥打丁宜消拯局事发后也接获投报赶往现场施援，将受夹困的妇女救出，所有伤者被送往哥打丁宜医院治疗。
