6手套公司被美国制裁 逾2年来至少亏18亿
（吉隆坡8日讯）美国海关与边境保护局（CBP）过去对我国6家首要公司进行制裁，大马橡胶手套厂商协会（MARGMA）预计，我国手套业从2020年至今年蒙受了18亿令吉损失。
该协会主席苏布拉马廉指出，美国海关对我国4家手套业者实行进口禁令很快就会解除，包括YTY集团、Smart Glove公司、Brightway和速柏玛（SUPERMX，7106，主要板医疗保健）。
美国当局在2020年7月对顶级手套（TOPGLOV，7113，主要板医疗保健）实施制裁，并在去年9月解除。同时，2019年9月接获暂扣令（WRO）的WRP Asia Pacific私人有限公司，已在2020年3月解除。
他今日出席大马橡胶理事会（MRC）活动后新闻发布会上说：“18亿令吉是一个非常保守的数字。”
“根据美国在不同时期的出口情况，我们计算出这6家（遭制裁）的公司在2020年至2022年间的金额。这数字非常小，因为单单是在2021年，新冠肺炎疫情最严重的时候，我们能赚到550亿令吉。”
他说，这已影响手套公司的财务，因为企业们从净利中拿出资金来解决问题。
苏布拉马指出，我国橡胶手套行业对美国的出口美国占总产出的30%。
对于2020年至2022年业者支付给受影响员工的补救金，估计超过3亿5000万令吉至4亿令吉。
他透露，该协会将在明年1月与美国政府当局进行进一步讨论。
该协会还将以环境、社会和治理（ESG）作为该行业未来的销售主张。
询及我国橡胶手套公司最常违反11项国际劳工组织（ILO）的指标是那些时，苏布拉马廉说，主要是债务奴役（debt bondage）和过度加班。
