中国驻澳洲大使演说 抗议人士打断发言逾10次
（悉尼25日综合电）中国驻澳洲大使肖千周五在悉尼科技大学发表演说，讲述他对中国与澳洲关系的看法；过程中多次有抗议人士高喊口号谴责中国政府压迫人权，导致肖千发言先后被打断10次以上。
肖千开始发言后大约1分钟，就遭遇来自澳洲“民主联盟党”成员巴夫鲁抗议。巴夫鲁在现场高喊“停止针对维吾尔族种族灭绝行为”和“让西藏自由、让香港自由”等口号；过程中，一度有一名身分不明男子冲到巴夫鲁面前，撕毁巴夫鲁手上的抗议牌，并以脏话向巴夫鲁叫骂“滚开”（Fxxk off）。

接着，巴夫鲁遭工作人员和警察驱逐离开悉尼科大校园。随后，又有其他十多名抗议人士陆续打断肖千的发言，接着同样被要求离开悉尼科大校园。
据多名抗议人士向中央社记者表示，除了多名“民主联盟党”成员是在事前相约前往抗议之外，还有其他是个人自发的行为。例如一名不愿公开姓名的大学老师向中央社记者表示，肖千的发言让她觉得“受够了”，于是她起立企图质问肖千；但随即遭驱逐离场。
肖千演讲会的主办单位，是悉尼科技大学澳中关系研究所”，所长劳伦森在开场发言时说：“今天来到现场和透过视讯参与的观众来自多元背景；身为公立大学，本校致力推动社会公益、表达自由和学术探索自由，这正是本所组织文化的核心价值。因此我们以公开形式举行今天的活动，而非仅让受邀请人士参与圆桌论坛而采取闭门方式。”
