新国工厂粉尘爆炸案 毁容客工动20次手术 终回国
（新加坡24日讯）来新工作10年，惨遇工厂粉尘爆炸案毁容，32岁孟加拉客工一年动20次手术，如今回国与家人团聚。
工业意外发生在去年2月24日上午，地点是Stars Engnr私人有限公司位于大士11道第32E座的厂房，当时酿成三死五伤的惨况。这也是人力部自2004年尼诰大道地铁环线工地塌陷事故后，17年来再次为工业事故成立调查委员会。
来自孟加拉的员工吉托（Hossain Jitu，32岁）当时伤得最重，全身蒙受54%烧伤，休养逾一年后，日前乘搭飞机回家乡。前来送机的包括哥哥米库（Hossain Meku，34岁）以及公司老板蔡星达。
吉托受访时表示，事发后住院超过三个月，去年6月11日出院，但过去一年却经历了20次手术。他说，于2017年11月加入公司，此次回国主要是想与超过两年未见的家人团聚。

“我回去想见见母亲，事发至今她都很担心。目前没有任何计划，但我会待上至少半年，再另作打算。”
不过，由于担心孟加拉天气和环境与新加坡不同，吉托也担心皮肤情况会变糟。
“皮肤复原得差不多，但还是会干和痒。我也担心适应不了孟加拉的环境。”
吉托表示，他希望日后还能再回狮城工作。
