（曼谷9日综合电）泰国政府宣布，本土研发的信使核糖核酸（mRNA）新冠肺炎疫苗已成功完成人体试验，可能在年底前推出，这种疫苗采用与辉瑞疫苗相同的技术。
泰国政府发言人泰莎娜库尔周六声明说，第一批国产“ChulaCov19”疫苗由曼谷的朱拉隆功大学研发，已在临床试验中证实其安全性，且保护效力比已在泰国获得使用许可的辉瑞疫苗还强。试验结果将在近期提交泰国食品药物管理局审查。
ChulaCov19疫苗将由泰国疫苗制造商BioNet-Asia在国内生产，每年产能可达2000万剂。
泰国研究人员正在研发逾12款新冠疫苗，以降低对外国疫苗供应的依赖，其中以朱拉隆功大学研发的疫苗最先进。泰国已是阿斯利康在东南亚唯一的制造基地，阿斯利康与当地的暹罗生技公司合作，供应疫苗给印尼、越南、马来西亚、台湾等国。
