汪小菲去年和大S离婚后，就将微博名称改成汪少菲，汪小菲母亲张兰曾解释“我儿子出生时不叫汪小菲，他爸给他起名‘汪少菲’，没想到登记时弄错了，所以就将错就错”、“少菲、少菲，就是让他‘少飞’嘛，以前每周飞一回，结婚后飞了700多次，老母亲的心啊，天天跟着祈祷，生怕他出事”希望儿子不用北京和台北之间来回奔波。
汪小菲和大S过去在实境节目《幸福三重奏》聊到此事，原本打算取名“汪少菲”，但登记户口时出错变成“汪小菲”，当时大S安慰“汪小菲好听多了”更夸这名字能带来好运“救了你一命，让你命变那么好”；如今汪小菲又把微博名称改回旧名，解释该名原因的贴文也删除了，引发中国网友热议“大S都再婚了，该放下了”。
