陕西发掘3600多座古墓葬 墓主包括武则天表兄等
中国陕西的考古工作者经过1年多的发掘工作，在咸阳市渭城区发掘了自战国至明清时期古墓葬3600余座，其中有多组东汉至隋唐时期的家族墓地，包括墓主为唐玄宗表弟、武则天表兄等高等级贵族的墓葬。
《新华社》报导，从2020年6月至2021年11月，陕西省考古研究院在咸阳市渭城区底张街道和北杜街道发掘了战国、两汉、西晋、十六国、北朝、隋、唐、宋、明、清时期的古墓葬3648座。

多数是皇亲国戚高官显贵
陕西省考古研究院研究员李明表示，这一发掘区域位于汉、唐长安城北，是当时被称为“洪渎原”的墓葬区，也是汉唐时期除陪葬帝陵外等级最高的墓地，这里埋葬的墓主多数系皇亲国戚、高官显贵，并见诸史籍。
目前已发掘的中大型墓葬占比大，纪年墓葬数量多，出土文物丰富。
在这次历时17个月的发掘中，共发现战国晚期王陵及陪葬墓地1处、西汉早期墓地1处、东汉家族墓地12处、西晋家族墓地3处、十六国家族墓地3处、十六国至隋代公共墓地1处、北朝及隋唐时期墓园77座，以及大量的宋、明、清时期平民墓葬，出土文物16000余件（组）。

研究发现，在战国到西汉时期，居民在这一墓地内集中安葬；到东汉、西晋、十六国时期，家族成员则以家庭墓葬为单位有规律地集中葬于一处家族墓地内；再到北朝及隋唐时期，家族墓园以围沟兆域为特征，规划整齐。这一变化为研究中国古代丧葬礼制上的延续和变迁提供罕见样本。
通过对出土墓志的研究，发现在这些古代墓葬的墓主中，有一些可见于史料记载的人物。如北周宇文韪，本姓周，是西魏尚书右仆射、司空周惠达之子；隋修北周梁㙜墓的墓主是北周敷州刺史、中部郡开国公；豳国公窦孝谌之孙、毕国公窦希瓘之子窦沔是唐玄宗的表弟；太子左内率杨全节为武则天的表兄等。
