（墨尔本21日综合电）澳洲一项研究表明，新冠肺炎轻症儿童患者，产生对抗新型冠状病毒的抗体的可能性较小。
墨尔本梅铎儿童研究所的研究负责人利恰尔迪（Paul Licciardi）说，研究人员比较了感染新冠肺炎后为轻症或无症状病例的57名儿童和51名成人，发现尽管两组患者的体内病毒量相当，但只有37%儿童产生抗体，而成人则为76%。
此外，儿童患者体内也并未像成人一样产生二线细胞免疫反应。
这项研究的参与者都在2020年感染新冠肺炎。研究团队在进行同侪审查前，于周一将研究报告发布于医学预印本平台medRxiv。
利恰尔迪说：“这种情形是否会发生在目前主要传播的Delta变异株病历上，须要进一步进行调查，也需要研究为什么儿童在感染新型冠状病毒后，产生抗体反应的可能性较小。”他补充，“也不清楚这是否意味着儿童较容易再次染疫。”
