（内比都5日综合电）缅甸反对派成立的影子政府“全国统一政府”表示，发动政变上台的军政府因出口、外来投资减少及新冠疫情影响，寻求外国印钞公司协助加印更多钞票应急。
知情人士证实了缅甸军政府闹现金荒情况。目前，缅甸经济急剧萎缩，反政变阵营号召抵制与缅甸军政府做生意，同时新冠肺炎疫情再次严峻。
“全国统一政府”的影子财长丁敦乃表示，军政府的计划、财政及投资部已接触数家外国印钞公司包括中国的公司，要求协助加印钞票，但遭拒绝。
军方二月推翻翁桑苏姬领导的民选政府上台后，德国印钞公司因应军政府继续镇压民众示威，在三月拒绝向缅甸国营印钞公司供应印钞物料。
军政府上台后，民众赶往银行提走积蓄，有些人则以美元买金保值，令到市面现金短缺。
