（加影21日讯）人力资源部长拿督斯里沙拉瓦南警告所有雇主，务必遵守1990年工人宿舍与设施最低标准（修正）法令（第446法令），为本地劳工或外劳提供舒适住宿环境，以保障员工福利。
他说，任何雇主若不遵守法令，政府将不会妥协。
“我警告所有雇主，必须为员工提供舒适住所，若是申请100名员工的住宿，则只允许100人入住。”
沙拉瓦南今日参与人资部、半岛劳工局及卫生部到一家手套厂的联合取缔行动后，接受媒体访问时指出，任何雇主若没有住宿许可证，在446法令第24D（1）条文下可被罚款最多5万令吉。
他说，罪成的雇主也会被列入黑名单，不能再聘请外劳。
他也说，若发现住所不符合条件，雇主的住宿申请将不获批。
