（布城27日讯）大马医药协会要求政府恢复医护人员“紧急津贴”的联署活动，截至今午3时，响应人数已突破9万人。
政府规定从明年开始，部分领域的新聘公务员将不再享有紧急津贴，当中包括医生和护士，因此大马医药协会发起网上联署活动，要求政府收回成命。
该联署是在25日（周三）凌晨时分开设，截至目前已有9万2059人签署。
大马医药协会副主席威加嘉纳山在联署指出，医疗业讲求牺牲，每个医疗人员都耗费了大好年华、家庭时间和健康去接受培训，以便能更好的去治疗病人。
他说，过去紧急津贴是其中一个激励医护人员的津贴，但另一方面，由于合约职员的引进及有限的职位，导致大部分医护人员的工作保障不复存在。
公共服务局是在本月20日，发出一份关于落实公共服务津贴通令，宣布从明年起取消9项津贴，当中包括紧急津贴。
