（吉隆坡23日讯）董教总今日就关中报考统考诉讼案，媒体报导有人声称关中为吉隆坡中华独中分校的言论发出联合声明，认为有关言论未反映实际情况。
董教总在文告中指出，上诉庭的判决考虑到关中申请初期乃欲成为隆中分校的意愿，即提供政府考试与统考课程。然而，这仅为阐述事件背景与因果关系，并非等同于关中是隆中华的分校。
文告也指，上诉庭判决阐明关中乃依据《996年教育法令条文之下创设，而关中拥有独立的学校注册证、学校管理层与行政结构，有鉴于此，所有文件与事实皆已证明关中是一所全新的私立学校，非隆中华分校。
“我们重申，高庭与上诉庭的判决已证实及保障董教总处理统考的事宜拥有自主权，关中的学生也在同一个案件被高庭及上诉庭认同，可以参加由董教总所主办的统考，符合华社意愿，乃是多赢之圆满局面。”
文告指出，对付破坏最好的答覆就是建设，他们吁请社会大众集合力量，以协助与支持华教新路向，推动华教发展。
