◤爪夷书法课题◢ 胡栋强：捍卫华教不变质 民政发动网上联署
（槟城13日讯）民政党署理主席胡栋强宣布，该党发动网上签名运动（http://chng.it/CdxHGmTc），希望华社全力捍卫华教不变质。
他今日文告指出，名为“反对强制性将爪夷书法纳入华小课程”的网上签名运动已经展开，希望各界人士支持。
他重申，民政党立场鲜明，由始至终都反对爪夷书法纳入华小四年级课程。

“若希盟政府仍一意孤行，民政党将继续反对到底，包括持续举办签名运动，将人民的声音传达至希盟政府。”
他强调，民政党非常明白华社要的是，完全撤消爪夷书法艺术单元纳入华淡小马来文课本，而不是只改为师生不再涉及书写。
他说，除了网上签名运动，民政党也走入社群，进行签名活动，广招群众一起来捍卫华教。
“希望民众别受到压力，民政党将成为华社的后盾，华社也应该给予民政党信心，相互配合共同前进，促请火箭和希盟政府要倾听民意，要回应民意。”
