郑国球：州政府积极推动 拜访贫户提供援助
（马六甲13日讯）甲州房屋、地方政府、环境及绿色工艺委员会主席拿督郑国球指出，甲州政府正积极推动拜访清寒家庭，各州选区也积极响应此计划，照顾有所需要的贫苦人士。
他说，他们除了提供免费的纸尿片，也提供其它的各项福利，如物资上的协助和维修受惠人士的房屋。

“甲州希盟政府不断努力帮助贫困人士，让他们在各单位的照顾下能过上更好的生活。”
郑国球昨晚出席南天宫庆祝座主九皇大帝圣诞千秋暨庆祝77周年纪念联欢晚宴上致词时，这么指出。
郑氏说，我们的祖先从中国南下到大马，带了很多中华文化包括语言、文字、历史、宗教、美食等到这里落地生根，而中华文化也得以流传至今。
“华人常说把根留住，所以我们应该把中华文化的精髓，保留着，不只是保留，还要发扬光大。”

另外，南天宫主席余进喜指出，办神庙不易，它像是经营一间企业或组织，它需要团队的用心合作与配合，提升团队的合作精神与彼此间的默契与思维，才能健康成长。
“一个人再厉害再聪明，智力与体力总会消耗累垮，若一个团队有队友扶持，不断接力，整个组织就能不断的行驶在轨道上。”
会上，郑国球宣布拨款3000令吉捐给南天宫作为建庙基金，由于该宫将搬迁至默迪卡再也花园，筹募款项目标500万令吉，目前尚不敷大笔费用，郑国球也呼吁善信们慷慨支持，让该宫顺利完成计划。
南天宫赠送贺匾庆贺郑国球及该宫副总务拿督斯里罗天保荣膺勋衔，而金马广告有限公司也获该宫赠送纪念品，答谢给予新庙模拟建筑历史展赞助，并由该公司董事经理李传财接领。
