珍珠港事件遇难海员殉职77年尸体始寻获

（华盛顿18日综合电）美国海军夏威夷领地珍珠港，在1941年遭遇日军突袭，造成2008名海军死亡，另有710名海军受伤，而总计美国的死亡人数则有2403人。

当年在珍珠港事件中丧命的一名美国海员查尔斯戈梅兹，他的遗体在77年寻获并确认身分后，将运返美国斯莱德尔的老家，并在明年于路易斯安那东南部老兵坟场墓地安葬。

美国国防部在上周指出，查尔斯戈梅兹是在珍珠港事件中遇难的二等海员，他和其他428人是在乘搭“俄克拉何马号”战列舰时殉职。

查尔斯戈梅兹的遗体身分，是在今年9月19日获得确认。

查尔斯戈梅兹的孙子福格说，爷爷的丧礼安排在2019年6月3日举行，当天刚好是查尔斯戈梅兹的97岁冥诞。

福格感慨的说，“爷爷在明年举行丧礼的时候，可能没有什么亲人会出席，因为大多数亲戚都已去世，不在人间了。不过我们终于可以把爷爷的遗体带回家了。”

“俄克拉何马号”战列舰，1941年12月7日在珍珠港遭遇日军发射数枚鱼雷击沉，导致“俄克拉何马号”很快倾覆沉没，数千名海军和海员魂断海底。

查尔斯戈梅兹的堂弟伯纳德说，这是悲伤的时刻。现年82岁的伯纳德与堂哥感情很好，他仍然记得堂哥查尔斯戈梅兹年轻时的童年时光。

伯纳德说，“堂哥爱他的家庭，在我的家有7个孩子，堂哥时常过来我的家跟我们玩。我和他在一起有很多欢乐时光。他是一个非常好的男孩。”
